Special Services
Sunday Night Student Service
9:00 p.m., Appleton Chapel
Every Sunday night in Term we gather for a “come as you are” worship service that includes the celebration of Holy Communion. The service is designed to provide a peaceful and contemplative space to find peace and encounter the divine at the start of the week. Following the service, we gather downstairs in the Buttrick Room for food and some social time together.
Compline
Thursdays, February 2, March 1, and May 3, 10:00 p.m.
The ancient service of Compline is held on the first Thursday of each month during the academic Term. Based upon the traditional evening liturgy of scripture, music, prayers, and silence, this twenty-minute service is sung in the candlelit space of Appleton Chapel by members of the Harvard University Choir. All are welcome.
Please note that there will be no service of Compline on Maundy Thursday, April 5th; to celebrate the liturgy of that day, there will be a choral Eucharist at 8:00 p.m.
A Service Honoring the Life and Legacy of The Reverend Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.
